Monster Prominence
Date:18th October 2008
Telescope:6inch f15 achromat
Camera:Lumenera 075M
Here we see a really large prominence. The day was cloudy but I managed to image it in two halves 30 mins apart in cloud gaps, It is therefor a composite image and not an image caught in one moment of time. Never the less it is a beauty and the largest Prominence that I have seen in my 2 years of H a imaging. Focal length was 90 inches.
